Supporting a Member of the Family 💙
As many of you know, we recently said a heartfelt goodbye to our dear colleague and friend, Bob Marcroft. Bob was a fixture here at the Turkish Baths, famous for his history tours, his endless jokes, and his uncanny ability to know a fact about every visitor's hometown.
This Sunday, 1st March, Bob’s son John Marcroft is taking on the St Michael's Hospice 10k in his dad’s memory.
St Michael's provided incredible care and support to Bob and his family during his brave battle with a brain tumour last year. Now, John is laceing up his running shoes to give back to the hospice that looked after his dad so well.
He’s even aiming to finish in under an hour—a goal he once bet Bob £50 he could beat (a bet Bob "gleefully" won when John didn't quite make it last time!). We know Bob will be cheering him on from the sidelines this time.
