We are thrilled to announce that Eleanor Eccles, Registered Nurse at the Duchy Hospital, has won December's Star of the Month!
Eleanor was nominated for her lovely nature with patients, relatives, staff and colleagues. She has worked in a number of different areas of the hospital - theatres, ward, Outpatients, Pre-assessment and manning the Reception desk welcoming patients for their appointments. Eleanor has contributed to the increased use of the Surgical Outpatient Suite. Eleanor has completed her Preassessment face to face course which has helped the service immensely. She undertakes thorough assessments of her patients and escalates and seeks help where needed. Eleanor has covered last minute sickness and has a very calming and soft nature. Eleanor is a huge asset to the Duchy Hospital and offers so much versatility to a number of areas.
