I wanted to share a little recommendation this month for a business I’ve used (and trusted) for years…

Travelgate, run by Mel and Phil, are just lovely. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel really welcome, and you can tell straight away how knowledgeable they are.

I’ve booked quite a few trips through them over the years, from city breaks to long-haul holidays and even cruises, and every single one has been so easy and stress-free. They really do take care of everything, which makes such a difference.

What I love most is how personal it feels. They really listen to what you want and put together something that’s just right for you, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
They’re based right in Harrogate and are fully independent and ATOL protected, so you know you’re in safe hands.

As it’s Sunscreen Day there’s no other product I could mention is there?

It was my absolute go-to when I was in Malaysia earlier this year, and it’s one I use every single day.

I saw it was World Meditation Day which got me thinking…sometimes we forget how important it is to just slow down for a moment.

When I was first introduced to meditation, I thought it meant sitting still in silence… but I soon learnt it can be as simple as slowing your breath, taking a quiet moment, or heading out for a peaceful walk in nature. It’s anything that quiets the noise in your head.

You might even enjoy joining one of Samantha Lightbody’s nature walks (Fleeting Fern), such a lovely way to switch off and reconnect.

Or it can be the everyday things… being present while you’re walking, gardening, or even doing chores around the house.

However, you choose to do it, it’s about finding that calm, quiet space for yourself.
Even a few minutes can make such a difference 🌿
