Today, September 10th, marks World Su***de Prevention Day
A message from Will Windsor: "Behind every mask, every uniform, there's a person who may be carrying more than we realise."

This year's theme is 'Changing the Narrative on Su***de'. This is about transforming silence, stigma, and misunderstanding into openness, empathy, and support.

Everyone has a role to play. From individuals checking in with loved ones, to communities creating safe spaces, to governments enacting policies and allocating resources — together, we can change the narrative and work towards a world where su***de is prevented, and every life is valued.

📣 Important Safety Update:
Following a reported “Look Alike, Sound Like” (LASA) error involving acetone and sodium citrate substances stored in similar glass bottles, AfPP supports the Safe Anaesthesia Liaison Group`s (SALG) recommendation to remove nail varnish removers from anaesthetic rooms.
