With the Festive Season over, our staff training is back into full swing! 💪💪💪

Our ongoing staff training begins with 'Basic Life Support' tutorials which include crucial CPR and defibrillator procedures. These are just a couple of the topics on our continuing training and refresher courses. 👌🙂

Tap, Tap, Tapping! 🔨🔨🔨

With all this hammering, we're expecting a full fluttering of wings and the sound of tweeting and twittering as birds fly in to our garden to make homes in the 'new-builds' we're constructing in the Activity Room. 🐦🐦🐦

We're hoping these new bird boxes will provide ample shelter from the winter cold and rain for birds in our area. 🙂

No More Knots!

Our Knit-N-Natter group are formulating plans for 2026. 🧐

With a kind donation of new patterns and balls of wool, things are looking exciting for the dedicated knitters. 🥳🥳🥳

And this year's resolution: no more dropped stitches and no getting tied in knots! 😜😂

Our brilliant Community Hub is open to support people through the wintery weather! Open from 10am until 4pm, it can provide warmth, company, and even coffee and cake!

Happy (belated) new year from the Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub!
With the weather being chilly and not very friendly, we wanted to remind everyone that the Hub is open Monday to Friday, 10-4.
So if you need a warm space to be, the opportunity to see other people and enjoy a cup of tea and a cake, then come along to 16 High Street, Starbeck!
(We are next to the Ice Cream shop Spoilt)

'Frosty' Art! 🥶🎨

Though it may be light at the moment, snow has definitely started to settle, so it's no surprise that our art club members have kicked off the year with some cool-toned works. 🖌❄️🖌❄️🖌❄️

Some are as abstract as snow flakes, while others show figures and buildings. Either way, the blue paper gives them all a feel of the chill that is currently with us. (We needed our beanies and gloves on just to look at this art! 🥶🥶🥶 🤯)

Today is National Trivia Day but instead of asking our tenants the usual "What is the tallest building in the world?" or "When did the first aeroplane fly across the Atlantic?", we decided to ask the some fun questions about themselves!
