Thank you to our local community from all of us at brighterkind

On Friday 26th June, we were all set to celebrate our annual Care Home Open Day. However, due to its postponement this year we wanted to say a huge thank you instead to our local communities for all the support they have given over the last few months by gifting wildflower seeds. They are available for everyone in their local community as a symbol of appreciation and hope for the future.

The brighterkind Magic Moments teams in our homes are preparing wildflower seeds with their residents for you to pick up outside their reception, on or around 26th June to plant and enjoy. It is extremely important now more than ever to keep our residents’ spirits high and continue to feel part of their community. Sharing the joy of colourful wildflowers we hope helps to do just that.

We are all looking forward to seeing family, friends and our local communities who have supported us so wonderfully again soon.

Ps. If you would like to send us your photos of you with your Wildflower pots, please send them in to celebrations@brighterkind.com or post them to twitter using the hashtag

It's International Children's Book Day today. We can't read stories with local nurseries today in person, but we can can celebrate our favourite children's books.
Do you remember 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt'? Some of our local communities are organising a 'bear hunt' for children to search for during their daily 'exercise'. With people in the local community proudly showing a teddy bear or picture of a bear in a window for children to look out for during their walk. What are your favourite children's stories :-) 👇

We would like to invite nurseries, schools and anyone in the local community to become a brighterkind 'Postcard Pal!' Send in your postcards, drawings and letters to our residents and keep them connected and cheery with your lovely messages 👇💞🥰 Find a brighterkind care home here: https://www.brighterkind.com/find-a-home
