What a fabulous afternoon at Vida Grange! 🐾 We welcomed residents’ dogs, families’ dogs, and staff dogs for our very own Vida Crufts. It was a great day filled with wagging tails, lots of medals, and plenty of cuddles. A special day for both our residents and staff. A huge thank you to our amazing team who went the extra mile to make this happen – you know who you are! ❤️

Yesterday, we hosted a Summer Garden Party at Vida Court, and made it even more special as it coincided with the International Day of Friendship. Friends and families joined us for a joyful day filled with singing, dancing, and laughter. Guests enjoyed a visit from an ice cream van, played traditional garden games, and were treated to fantastic live music from the Harrogate Spa Town Ukes. It was a fabulous day full of fun, friendship, and sunshine.

Sometimes, a small change of scenery is all it takes to lift our spirits. For people living with dementia, getting out and doing something different can ease overstimulation and spark memories through familiar scents and surroundings. We love our outings, whether it’s a stroll through Valley Gardens, a trip into town, or a visit to the garden centre. We find activities that our residents love. 🌼🌳🛍️

🌼 Here’s our June roundup of some of the lovely things we’ve been up to! From a special visit from Hazel the pony 🐴, a fun silent disco with lots of dancing 💃🕺, to delicious afternoon tea, games, gardening, and soaking up the sunshine ☀️.
