Hi, I’m Janet, I started working at IntegraCare in July 2024, taking up a newly created post of Compliance Auditor. Prior to that I spent the previous six months working as a Hospitality Assistant in a Care Home, and prior to that I spent the last 20 years as an Administrator in the Civil Service, so this is quite a change!
I’m really enjoying working at IntegraCare, I can see how everyone pulls together as a team and is very supportive of each other. I’m slowly finding my feet in this new post, it’s me who checks that all the paperwork, money and MAR sheets are filled in correctly, deciphers your handwriting, reads your logs to see what the clients have been up to, and then produces each Weekly Audit to feed back to the Service Coordinators! It’s been great to meet some of you, and some of the clients. I am office based, so, if you do pop in, please come and say hello.
Outside of work, I live on my own in Harrogate, I have one daughter who got married at the end of September, so it’s been a busy year. She lives nearby with her other half, so I get to see quite a bit of them which is great. I enjoy travel – the researching as well as the going, watching F1, and endeavouring to keep a gym habit up.
