Harrogate Care at Home aims above all else to provide a caring and reliable home care service. Harrogate Care at Home offers North Yorkshire County Council, the NHS Primary Care Trust, and self-funded clients reliable, appropriate and experienced help that is flexible and affordable. Our services aim to uphold the client’s dignity, privacy, independence and security at all times. We offer domicili
ary care to those people in the community who wish to remain in their own homes, but who require support, either on a regular or ad hoc basis, to do so. Such home care is flexible, affordable and client centered. Sometimes the home care is for short-term help following discharge from hospital, when it can be particularly reassuring to have experienced help at hand. Potential clients will have their needs thoroughly assessed, and will be provided with detailed information on which to make an informed decision about their future care. Service will then be based on an agreed and regularly reviewed Care Plan, which sets out the objectives of the care and how we hope to achieve those objectives. Home care services available include:
- Cleaning and domestic duties
- Personal care – washing, bathing, dressing, preparing for bed, assisting with medication, etc.
- Shopping and laundry
- Light meal preparation
- Day sitting and es**rt service – for hospital appointments, visiting friends, etc.
