DNA results are in for March!

89 patients missed appointments, losing 39 hours of GP, Nurse & Physiotherapist clinical time due to non attendance.

It's imperative more than ever that NHS resources are used appropriately & we are grateful to our patients who do inform us if they are unable to attend a medical assessment.
Please call us on 01423 564168 if you no longer need or cannot get to a prearranged consultation, this enables slots to be available to meet other patients clinical needs.

Ensure your medicine cabinet is well stocked for the Bank Holiday weekend with essentials such as paracetamol & ibuprofen for relieving aches & pains.
Decongestants aid short term relief for a blocked or stuffy nose & antihistamines are useful for allergies, hay fever & insect bites.
If you have stomach ache or heartburn, a simple antacid will bring relief in the form of liquid, chewable or dissolvable tablets and anti -diarrhoea tablets can control the symptoms caused by food poisoning or a stomach virus.
Fever, vomiting & diarrhoea can lead to dehydration, keep some oral re-hydration salts in the home to aid your recovery.
Plasters, bandages, sterile dressings, eyewash, thermometer, tweezers & antiseptic will also keep you prepared for any minor injuries in the home during the extended holiday weekend.
Don't forget the sunscreen!
Speak to your local community pharmacist about which products to keep in a safe cupboard.
For injuries which require medical intervention, Minor Injuries Units at Harrogate & Ripon Hospitals have a walk in service & you can access A&E for any serious injuries or conditions.
111 will be able to direct you to the most appropriate service.

Open Tuesday 31st March, Thursday 2nd April 08.00 - 10.15 am
Normal service resumes after the Easter break on Tuesday 7th April .
