With Christmas approaching, we would just like to remind patients of the prescription processing times. We require a minimum of 2 working days to process medication requests and community pharmacies ask for a further 3-4 days to dispense. We are experiencing an increasing number of “urgent” medication requests which is placing more pressure on our team. We are unable to take prescription requests over the phone. Please request your medication in good time and do not allow yourself to run out.

We will be closed on Thursday 6th November 2025 for staff training from 12.30pm. For any urgent medical issues, please call 111 or in the case of a medical emergency, dial 999. We will be open as usual on Friday 7th November at 8am.

So far we have given 488 Covid vaccinations and 1284 Flu vaccinations at the surgery.

If you are eligible you can still book an appointment with us. If you are aged 65 and over, a patient in a clinical risk group or a pregnant woman, please call us on 01423 564168 to make an appointment for a Flu vaccination. If you are aged 75 and older or immunosuppressed you will be eligible for a Covid vaccination too.

Thank you to all our patients who came to our coffee morning last Saturday. We have raised a fantastic £338 from our tombola and from patient contributions for Martin House Childrens Charity. Thank you to NY Connected Spaces, Horizons, Carers Resource, Dementia Forward and Gina our Social Prescriber who came to talk to our patients. Our nurse, Sharon also came to discuss diabetes and lifestyle which was very popular. If you have any feedback or comments on the event, this would be greatly received.
