Six years ago today, we lost one of the St Margarets Homecare founders, John Kneller

John was one of life’s radiators, always giving out warmth, laughter, and good times to everyone around him

He had a way of lifting people without trying just by being himself

We still feel his absence every day, but we’re so grateful for the memories, the laughs, and the legacy he left behind

Last week celebrated an incredible milestone — Lisa’s 20 years with St Margaret’s Homecare 💙

As our Field Manager, Lisa is often the very first person our new clients meet. Taking that first step into homecare can feel daunting, but Lisa has a truly special gift with her calm, reassuring presence instantly putting people at ease. She brings warmth, understanding, and genuine care into every introduction, helping clients and their families feel safe, supported, and confident from the very beginning.

Homecare is about so much more than support it’s about helping people live well, stay connected to the place they love, and maintain as much independence as possible. Lisa embodies everything that makes this work so meaningful.

Through her dedication, Lisa has helped countless individuals and families navigate important moments in their lives with dignity and compassion.

Lisa began her journey with St Margaret’s alongside our founders, Wendy and John and was lovingly known by John as “Little Lisa.” But Lisa’s impact has never been little her contribution to our team, our clients, and our community has been truly immense.

Lisa, thank you for your 20 years of unwavering commitment, kindness, and hard work. You are such a valued part of the St Margaret’s family, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
