We had a wonderful morning at Milmans today for our Thrive Club!

It was lovely to welcome some new faces and reconnect with some familiar friends too. The room was full of smiles, laughter, and great conversations, just the way we like it!

On Wednesday, we held our monthly Carers Connect team meeting - and what a great turnout it was!

A huge thank you to Gabriela, our amazing senior carer, who treated the team to some incredible homemade cakes 🍰❤️

At Walfinch Harrow & Brent, we value our carers and take their wellbeing seriously. Following feedback from our staff survey, we’ve transformed our team meetings into interactive, engaging sessions where carers can share ideas, connect with each other, and have fun, because supporting one another is just as important as supporting our clients.

This month’s theme: Safeguarding - with great discussions and shared experiences that help keep everyone safe and informed.

We had a fantastic evening volunteering on the raffle stand at this year’s Starlight Walk, hosted by St Luke’s Hospice. It was a privilege to support this amazing event, which raises vital funds to help people in our community receive the compassionate care they deserve.
