Highlights from Carnbroe Care Centre 💚

🍰 Afternoon Tea
We welcomed some lovely residents and staff from our sister home, Craigend Gardens.

🐾 International Dog Day
We had two very special furry guests: Lily and Ella, who brightened the mood of our residents.

🎨 Arts & Crafts
Residents spent the afternoon painting stones and cards. The finished pieces looked amazing.

Joyful moments at Jasmine Court ✨🌸

🌞 Residents and families enjoyed delicious burgers, games, and raffles with live entertainment at the Summer fair while soaking up the fun.

💪 Our regular armchair exercises and much-loved weekly bingo sessions kept spirits high and smiles wide.

🎂 The residents with the team celebrated our lovely lady, Susan's 80th birthday, with fabulous party entertainment.

A Roaring Celebration at ACH 🏆⚽️

Our residents at Andrew Cohen House enjoyed the Women's Euro Football Championship. The excitement reached new heights as England brought home the victory, and our residents were all geared up for themed celebrations !

Summer Fayre Fun 🌻🌞

Kingfisher hosted a joyful summer fayre, and it turned out to be a wonderful day. The sun was shining, spirits were high, and residents enjoyed the festivities.

Around the World on a Plate 🍽️🌍

The team at Liberton Brae has introduced World Wednesdays, and our talented Culinary Team has been taking residents on a global food adventure, right from the comfort of home.

So far, they have together explored the tastes of France, Spain, Romania, Hungary and even celebrated local traditions of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. What makes this even more special is how our wonderful staff have shared treasured family recipes, helping recreate authentic dishes that spark memories and smiles all around. ❤️

Food has a wonderful way of bringing people together, and this has been a joyful way for our residents to connect, explore new cultures, and enjoy each other’s company over a shared love of cuisine.

📸 While we don’t take photos during mealtimes out of respect for our residents’ privacy, we couldn’t resist sharing just how much joy this experience has brought to everyone involved.

A Lovely Outing to Beamish Museum 🏛️

At Roseway House Care Home, our home team is committed to helping our residents stay connected with the wider community through memorable outings and meaningful experiences.

This time, our residents enjoyed a fantastic trip to Beamish Museum, where they explored the Pit Village, danced along to a lively folk band in the Miners’ Hall, and savoured traditional fish and chips at Davey’s Fish Shop.

🎞️ The adventure continued in the 1950s village, with a relaxing visit to the vintage cinema, sweet treats of ice cream, and a fun game of boules that brought lots of smiles and laughter.

💛 These outings are a wonderful opportunity for residents to relive happy memories, share stories, and create new joyful moments together.
