As little as 35 units of alcohol per week can really affect some people's memory but perhaps not show up as affecting their liver function. We see large numbers of patients coming into the emergency department with issues brought on by excessive alcohol consumption.

Drinking 35 units of alcohol a week for five years could put you at risk of alcohol-related brain damage.

Where the Funding Will Be Used
🎶 Dementia Choir - Harrow Carers: Your contributions will help set up a dementia choir in Harrow, providing a joyful and therapeutic experience for individuals with dementia through music therapy and choir sessions.

🏥 Dementia Services at Northwick Park Hospital: Funds will support activities such as sponsoring choirs, setting up music groups, and providing activity kits to stimulate cognitive function and enhance the well-being of patients.

By supporting these initiatives, you are helping to create a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those affected by dementia. Your generosity will enable us to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of community to individuals who need it most.
