Makar-sankranti festival celebrates the transition of the sun from Sagittarius ( Dhanu) to Capricorn (Makar). The day is also considered auspicious for starting new ventures.
We celebrated this auspicious day with our dedicated volunteers from Act Foundation UK Group. Residents were well engaged singing prayers and bhajans by playing handy musical instruments and clapping.
