Since being established in 1989, Helping Hands aims to deliver the very best standards of support from our trained carers to each and every one of our customers. The Home Care in Harrow team includes friendly and professional carers to support our customers with their needs. They offer a wide range of services from housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, personal care, clinical care, and accompanying cus

tomers to local GP or hospital appointments. A visit can range from as little as 30 minutes a week, right through to overnight care or full time live in care in Harrow. We also offer other services such as respite care, palliative care and end of life support, and nursing led clinical assistance.

At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care. Helping Hands is a fantastic company for people who genuinely care about making a difference and creating positive moments in others’ lives.”
