Buchanan Court in Harrow is a purpose-built care home for older people that offers superb, person-centred care. The dedicated team provides a full range of high-quality care, including nursing, residential and specialist dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Every aspect of life at Buchanan Court is tailored to residents’ individual needs and preferences, from the care the team provides, to the activities and outings residents enjoy and the delicious, fresh food served up by the chef-led team. Residents can choose which bedroom they would like, and they can personalise it however they wish. With a cinema, café, hair salon and a range of activities and outings to choose from, each day can be whatever residents want it to be.

Buchanan Court Care Home is proud to announce that we have become the 25th business in Harrow to sign up to the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) initiative.
By joining this important programme, we are helping Harrow reach its target of enrolling 25 businesses by March 2026 an important step in creating a safer community for women and girls.
We are honoured to play our part in supporting this vital initiative and standing alongside other local organisations committed to safety, respect, and community wellbeing.

🦉 What a Hoot at Buchanan Court!
Residents, families and staff enjoyed a truly owl‑some afternoon this week as we welcomed some very special feathered visitors from Owl Adventures.
Everyone loved meeting barn owl Casper, white‑faced owl Diego, eagle owl Henrietta, and Harris’s hawk Roland. There were big smiles all round as residents learned fun facts, got up close to the birds, and shared their own animal memories.
One resident, Margaret, said: “It was so lovely to see the birds. They were so calm, and I learned so much. It was wonderful that my family, especially my grandson, could join me.” 💛
We’re already looking forward to our next animal encounter at Buchanan Court! 🦉💛🌿
