Last Friday, we took members of our Stepping Stones walking group and Men’s Group on a day trip to Westcliff-on-Sea, and what a beautiful day it was.

The weather was kind, the beach was immaculate, and the energy was full of calm, laughter and connection.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful fresh air, good company, and a change of scenery can be for our well-being.

Thank you to everyone who made the day so special. 💙

Heat can impact concentration, mood, energy levels and sleep, which in turn can influence our mental health. If you're feeling more tired, irritable or low, you're not alone, and it's not just the heat you’re managing, it’s your whole system responding.

Here are a few simple ways to take care:

Stay hydrated and drink water regularly

Keep your environment as cool as possible

Slow your pace if you can—rest is valid

Avoid direct sun during peak hours

Check-in with others who may be more vulnerable

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month from all of us at Mind in Harrow!

We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ community, not just this month, but always. We know that mental health support must be inclusive, affirming, and rooted in compassion.

Whether you're out, questioning, proud, or still figuring things out, you're seen, you're valid, and you deserve to feel safe and supported. 💙

Let’s celebrate love, identity, and the right to be fully yourself.
