My Voice, My Views Matter - World Mental Health Day 2025. Burbank Community Centre are holding a free event celebrating mental wellbeing, this Friday 10th October 2025 from 9.30am-4.30pm.
Why not pop along for a day of music, art, dancing, mindfulness and more. Free tea, coffee and soup will be available.

WEIGHT LOSS INJECTIONS - UPDATE❗️

The NHS is still putting the new service in place.

It won’t be offered in all GP practices or be available straight away as the details of how GPs will be able to possibly provide these injections have still not been agreed.

Only a very small number of people will meet the strict eligibility criteria.

Contacting the surgery will not speed up access to the medicine and will increase our administrative workload, which may delay care for everyone.

Please be patient while the NHS rolls out this treatment safely and fairly. We will contact eligible patients if and when we are able to provide this.

Seaton Surgery will close for staff training on Thursday 19th June at 1:00pm. We will re-open as usual on Friday 20th June.

If you require urgent medical assistance when the surgery is closed please contact 111 for advice or visit https://111.nhs.uk/ for online help. Local pharmacies will also be open, along with urgent care treatment centres.

From 10am on Tuesday 3 June 2025, the 0800 freephone crisis line number (0800 0516 171) will be deactivated and will no longer accept calls. This means there will be no voicemail on the line and calls will not be transferred.
Anyone experiencing a mental health crisis must call NHS 111 and select the mental health option.

There will be a townwide Time Out training session on the afternoon of Tuesday 20th May from 12.30 - 6pm and all surgeries will be closed during this period to allow staff to participate in training sessions in conjunction with practices across the region.
