๐Ÿ“ฑ Do you have NHS App notifications turned on?

Weโ€™re supporting an NHS England campaign to help cut the cost of SMS messaging โ€” and you can help!

Many of us like getting updates straight to our phones, but did you know that every text message costs the NHS money? If you use the NHS App (and if you donโ€™t yet, itโ€™s well worth a try!), make sure youโ€™ve got notifications switched on. Youโ€™ll still get all the important messages โ€” but at no cost to the NHS.

โœ… Just tap the person icon (top right) in the app
โœ… Scroll to Notifications
โœ… And switch them on

WEIGHT LOSS INJECTIONS - UPDATEโ—๏ธ

The NHS is still putting the new service in place.

It wonโ€™t be offered in all GP practices or be available straight away as the details of how GPs will be able to possibly provide these injections have still not been agreed.

Only a very small number of people will meet the strict eligibility criteria.

Contacting the surgery will not speed up access to the medicine and will increase our administrative workload, which may delay care for everyone.

Please be patient while the NHS rolls out this treatment safely and fairly. We will contact eligible patients if and when we are able to provide this.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
