This psychic sketch I did at a private sitting recently came through in blue pencil; a with a lot of inspiring words to say to my lovely customer …. Interesting blue is the colour of the throat chakra … a voice of wisdom to be heard and also the colour scheme of the room in my customer’s home where she keeps her spiritual belongings - the room where this sketch was going to be displayed.

I create these sketches with the spirit guides - It is the guide who produces my sketches, I’m merely the facilitator, the one holding whatever pencil or paintbrush I’m guided to use for that piece of artwork.

This fair chap just fell out of my chalks and felt he wanted to make his appearance this evening. Wierdly I actually typed ah ‘twas to become this fair chap indeed at the same time I was thinking I’ve no idea who he is & then I realised what had actually came out was the name Andre’s where I had typed indeed.
Dunno why I say wierdly I did wonder who he was & got the answer immediately - surprised I’m still surprised at this these days!
I took videos of the drawing as it was coming through which I’ll post if I can figure how to mute the sound … I really don’t want to subject you to the sound of me humming REM song fall on me in the background as I was doing all the way through … must have some significance though I know nor what - as must that sentence I know not what!

These cards all played their role in the card readings I did last night in the wonderful atmospheric surroundings of a venue that used to be one of my old haunts back in the day …. haunts being a very apt word for this lovely olde worlde historic venue that dates back from the 1820’s …. it’s past history still vividly present in its bricks, feelings from folk of times gone by still present as if interwoven into the sheer fabric of the place, some of those of the past still stay on, it seems, glimpses often seen, energies most definitely very present, watching on with welcome interest from behind the glass frontage, very noticeably felt even as I was parking the car, and once inside an even more warm welcome back.
I’m so pleased that the current custodians of this beautiful building take pride and care in nurturing, respecting and keeping the character and feel of the building, thankfully it’s changed little since I was last there in the 90’s, it had a rare olde world charm to it back then … an even rarer treasure in these modern times.
It was a pure treat to have been invited there to do card readings and an honour to be invited to return again in the not too distant future. I definitely won’t be leaving it another 20odd years before my next visit that’s for sure!

I usually work with a number of decks when doing a reading - just now it was 2 tarot decks, Psycards & animal guide oracle cards that I was inspired to use… oh & this pendulum wanted to join in with this reading too and for very good reason - it turned out the lovely customer had just been thinking of getting a pendulum & wanted to know how to use it so I was able to give her a little demonstration & help with how to use a pendulum.
✨I teach using pendulums as part of my spiritual guidance & awareness sessions along with card reading and all sorts of info I’ve amassed over a lifetime of soaking up & learning about so many aspects of the spiritual/holistic/psychic dimensions to life.
✨My teaching sessions are done by appointment at my work room in Hartlepool - either in one to one sessions or bring a friend or two or three & spread the cost of the learning sessions between you.

So the other day when I posted some Equinox related photos of this drawing (which is indeed named The Spring Equinox or perhaps Spirit of the Equinix as a typo made me write Sprint not Spring so I feel there was a conjoining of words to be acknowledged in the name) I gave a brief insight into words & feelings that came through as the drawing was being created & said I would elaborate/mention more about that so here’s more: -
The sketching began as a series of swirling motions, spiralling to the top centre the feeling of a grassy hill was very evident but then came 2 separate spiralling areas. Feelings of a Bronze Age shield, battles, power but then intermixed & overlayed with definite Fae folk energies, of hidden chambers deep within the grassy knoll. Burial chambers. Old Irish. A deep tunnel beneath with a shining light through it. The top seemed to transform to me firstly like a handle then a lock & a key as if secrets lay hidden deep within the drawing & the hill. My brain & memory intervened at this point - trying to help my somewhat confused intuitive rambling psychic thoughts suggested ah that NewGrange thing that was briefly on telly the other day - it’s that … to which intuition very strongly & somewhat abruptly replied, “thank you but it’s not, but you’re not too far off… It’s most definitely The Hill of Tara”. My brain though having vaguely heard of the Hill of Tara consulted my memory who had lost any information it ever had on Hill of Tara so I made a note to Google it later. Oh & while I was at it intuition said Google Tuatha Dedanne as that’s who the Fae folk connected with this feeling of this picture are linked with.
So after the drawing was finished I did a quick Google images check & there it was one picture so resonated with the feeling I was quite taken aback at the likeness to the feeling I had in my minds eye. It was indeed the Hill of Tara.
Yesterday showing my pal the photos I remembered I hadn’t Googled Tuatha Dedanne. I vaguely knew they had something to do with Irish Fae folk but nothing more … so I Googled them & found out this -
Firstly I’d spelt the name wrong but I got it near enough.
Wikipedia says Tuatha De Danann are said to have been a supernatural race thought to represent deities of Gaelic Ireland. The name means “The Folk of the Goddess Danu” … and here’s the thing … they are said to be associated with burial grounds & the eventually became known as “aes sidhe” meaning “Fae folk”. Ah I love it when things come together like this.
Anyway. Just now I tried to find that Google image of the Hill of Tara that I briefly seen and recognised as what I’d been drawing to reference it here for you.. It’s on a website called ancient origins.
So.. I just clicked on the link from the photo to the website to read the info about the photo : it was titled Tracing the Links to the High Kings of Ireland .. ah that could be where the battle & power feeling came from that I associated with the drawing … so I read on … and was astounded to discover thar The Hill of Tara is actually an ancient burial site in Ireland & according to legend it is where the Tuatha De Dann reigned ! Plus beneath the hill is a space where the kings processed into the sunlight and Bronze Age brill artefacts have been found there.
Gosh I do love it when things all come together like this. I find it fascinating. I feel I’ve yet to discover more in all this, to unlock more of its secrets & learnings for me to discover.

So this drawing just happened & wanted to be put on here straight away. Gosh the energies were so so fast around this one. Never ever done a portrait on black paper before, nor with pastel chalk things .. just trusted the process & he revealed himself with a very clear indication of who he is for (guess he wanted to join us for our cuppa Lesley Inkster!) I took little videos of the process from start to finish, I’ll post them on here in stages day by day so you can see how it revealed itself as it just sped out of my chalks.

A window into the process of the progression of my most recent piece of psychic art “Spring Equinox”
For me the progression & process of what happens during the formation & coming into being of a piece of psychic art is as important as & has as much to say as the finished piece of art. Indeed it is during the process the messages it carries come through very often coveyed in ways intertwined unexpectedly with the actual piece of art itself.
This was a perfect example - one in particular that I only noticed as I was looking through the many photos on my phone which I was intuitively urged to take as the art unfolded.
I knew when intuitively urged to do this art it was most definitely about the Spring Equinox, and that it would (as it did) gradually reveal itself throughout the hours surrounding the Spring Equinox.
When looking through the work in progress photos I’d just randomly taken in quick succession as I was pulled to do, I firstly noticed the drawing & drawing book was just, well, missing from one of the photos. The area where the drawing pad & artwork were was just simply engulfed in bright white light - the photos either side of it in my camera roll and taken split seconds before & after are just normal. The message was beautiful & so immediately clear to me; the drawing was all about the Spring Equinox … the welcoming in on the light and so it did .. most literally and beautifully. A very special moment captured indeed.
Then as I happened to scroll through my camera roll at the earlier photos, it had happened again - only this time the photo was in almost complete darkness yet the photos either side taken split second before & after, completely normal. The balance between dark & light. The progression from darker days to lighter days - the message captured wonderfully in a series of quickly intuitively taken photos on my camera roll. I never cease to be amazed at the wonder of this magical gift.
So the photos, then were the symbolising of the balance of light & dark, the transition from darker days to light brought in and welcomed by the Spring Equinox.
The artwork itself is full of other meanings of Celtic earth mounds & Fae folk, doorways to secret burial chambers with light shining passages of Bronze Age decorative shields…but I’ll save that for tomorrows post as I’ve waffled on enough for today xx
