At Ainsley's Osteopathic Practice we provide consultation and treatment for a wide range of joint and soft tissue injuries and problems.

We are able to diagnose what the problem is, we can offer advice regarding a range of treatment options for the problem, we can provide manipulation, massage and exercise treatment, and we can provide further referral or arrange investigations if required.

Initial consultations take approximately 40 minutes and consist of a thorough discussion of your problem and medical history, an examination, an explanation of the diagnosis and its likely outcome, discussion of treatment options - ie what can be done about your problem, some hands-on treatment for your problem, and advice about home exercises and suitable activity levels during recovery.

We offer a telephone reception service outside of clinic hours for appointments. You are welcome to speak to the osteopath prior to attending. For those patients who prefer or need to wear a mask our team are more than happy to do likewise.

Ainsley's Osteopathic Practice will continue to open during the current tier 4 restrictions. This is inline with government regulations allowing healthcare business to remain open.

We are open

Monday 11 am - 7 pm (last appointment is 6 pm)
Tuesday 2 pm - 7 pm
Thursday 2 pm - 7 pm
Friday 11 am - 7 pm

We are closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Our reception service is available outside of office hours for inquiries.

We continue to operate under strict infection control measures.

Ainsley's Osteopathic Practice is planning to reopen in June (exact date to be confirmed). We will have made a number of changes in accordance with the governments' and our regulating body's guidelines which will help reduce the risk of spread of the corona virus.

A variety of measures including social distancing where possible, hygiene procedures, and the use of PPE will be in place.

We will not be able to provide face to face consultations or treatment for people who are considered at high risk, or for people who have corona virus, have symptoms of corona virus, or have been in recent contact with corona virus.

We will need to discuss your case and circumstances by telephone prior to attendance.

We continue to provide telephone assistance and advice for all patients and enquiries in the meantime.

Ainsley's Osteopathic Practice is currently closed for business due to the ongoing corona virus. Government advice has requested that a number of other business types are now to close, including massage therapies. Whilst we are an osteopathic practice, rather than massage therapy, we are none the less similar in nature by spending considerable time in hands on contact with our patients. This is to reduce the spread of the virus to other people including those more vulnerable to its effects. Whilst we are unable to provide treatment and consultation at the clinic we are still available by telephone and can offer telephone consultation and advice.

Welcome to the page for Ainsley's Osteopathic Practice. This page is not regularly maintained but serves as a point of information about the practice.

We are able to diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of joint injuries and problems. Common conditions include back and neck pain, sports injuries, disc, muscle, tendon or ligament injuries, and nerve entrapment.

Further specialist referrals and investigations (MRI, ultrasound, steroid injections) are also available.

We are based at Queens Meadow Business Park on the outskirts of Hartlepool.

Tuesday 12 pm - 7 pm
Thursday 3 pm - 7 pm
Friday 10 am - 6 pm

We occasionally open on Saturday mornings also.
