💪 I’m taking on The Push-Up Challenge
From 5th–27th February, I’ll be doing this alongside my son, Josh, as we attempt 2,000 push-ups.
Why 2,000?
Because around 2,000 people die by su***de every single day worldwide — a statistic that really stops you in your tracks.
Josh will absolutely put my amateur efforts to shame (no surprises there 😅), but this isn’t about perfect form or fitness bragging rights.
It’s about showing up, having a go, and backing a cause that matters.
The challenge raises funds for The Samaritans, who provide life-saving support to people when they need it most.
And if you’re thinking of signing up but can’t do push-ups — don’t worry.
You can swap them for squats, lunges or sit-ups. It’s about taking part, not being a gym hero 💪
I’ll be sharing some video footage along the way too — partly for accountability, partly because watching me attempt push-ups may count as entertainment.
If you’d like to join our team, sign up yourself, or support the cause, you can do so here:

Every push-up, every conversation, every bit of awareness counts 🧡
