ube is placed a couple of inches into your bottom and a gentle flow of warm, filtered water will flush into your bowel, similar to when the sea flushes up onto a beach and draws away the scattered pebbles. Every one is different so after a brief consultation I will use a range of techniques and abdominal massage that suits you as the individual. All relevant equipment is disposable. As waste is flushed away there are no smells or mess as it goes straight from you down a waste pipe. The whole treatment lasts up to 50 minutes. You may or may not experience discomfort if you do it could feel like windy cramps but the technique may then be altered to settle that discomfort. The main goals of colonic hydrotherapy is to rehydrate the bowel, relieve stagnation, repair the gut wall, replace and rebalance bowel flora or good bacteria, restore bowel function and re-educate the owner of the bowel.
