Men’s Day Out - Have you signed up yet?! 👣

Grab your mates, pull on your trainers and join us for a 5-mile walk along the Seaton Carew seafront. It starts and finishes at Hornby Park, with good company and well-earned refreshments waiting at the end.

After the walk, stick around for live music and a great atmosphere back at the club.

Whether you’re walking for a laugh with the lads, a bit of fresh air or to support Alice House Hospice – it’s a cracking day out!

He’ll be walking from St James’ Park to the Stadium of Light, then on to Victoria Park, finishing at the Riverside Stadium — an amazing route honouring the memory of his family member Steven, who was cared for by Alice House Hospice last year. 💜

Tracy’s family kindly chose Alice House Hospice as the charity for donations in her memory, following the care she recently received from our team.

They shared how grateful they are for the compassion and support shown not only to Tracy, but to their whole family. They told us that without their local hospice, they wouldn’t have been able to fulfill one of Tracy’s final wishes.

Thanks to their generosity and support, they raised an incredible £800 in Tracy’s memory. Thank you so much 💫

Yesterday we came together at Alice House Hospice to celebrate a very special occasion – Laura Robinson’s retirement lunch.

Laura has been a truly valued member of our Hospice family since 1997, dedicating so many years of care, compassion and commitment to supporting patients and their loved ones.

Throughout her time here, she has made an incredible difference to countless families, offering comfort when it was needed most and leaving a lasting impact on everyone she has worked with.

We are so grateful for everything Laura has given to the Hospice over the years. Her kindness, warmth and dedication will be greatly missed by all of her friends and colleagues.

From everyone at Alice House Hospice, we wish Laura a long, happy and well-deserved retirement filled with new adventures, relaxation and special moments.
