With the Fleet Half Marathon approaching, we are aware that running often carries stories far beyond the finish line.
We recently saw a local runner sharing that she is running in memory of her parents who she lost to cancer. It’s a powerful reminder that behind every runner or race there is often a deeply personal reason for being there.
Some people run for health.
Some for challenge.
Some for community.
And sometimes people run for those who can’t.
If you’re taking part in the Fleet Half Marathon at the end of the month, we’d love to hear your story.
What’s your reason for running?
Good luck to all the runners in their last week of preparing. Take it easy this week. Look after your body and muscles and get plenty of sleep. If you fancy a prep or post massage at the event we will be there and hope to meet you there!
