Massive shoutout to Mark & Russ 👏
What a performance in the Male Doubles at HYROX Manchester!

They crossed the line in an impressive 1:17 on Thursday, with this being Russ’ quickest HYROX time to date ⏱️💥
From start to finish they pushed hard through every station, backing each other the whole way — exactly what doubles racing is about.

Both lads have taken away some huge positives and key learnings to carry into the next block and level up their next performances 📈

What’s next?
➡️ Russ goes Solo in Copenhagen, setting himself new goals and challenges over the next two months
➡️ Mark lines up in Glasgow next month, back in doubles with his nephew 👊

Top work boys — consistency and hard work are paying off.
Now it’s time to fine-tune a few things and keep the progression moving 🚀

Manchester HYROX 🔥💪

Yesterday Rich and I raced our first HYROX together after just 3 months of training as doubles — and what a race it was. We put in a really strong performance and I felt powerful, locked in, and fully in flow from start to finish.

Rich is an unreal partner to race with. Calm, composed, and incredibly effective in how he performs — exactly the kind of energy you want next to you when it matters. I couldn’t have asked for a better doubles partner. We’re currently sitting in 1st place, with final confirmation coming by Saturday evening 🤞

This is just the beginning. I’m already excited to see what we can do together in Copenhagen in 2 months’ time 🇩🇰💥

I’m buzzing to see what these boys can do. Russ is in the best shape he’s ever been in — consistent training, dialled-in nutrition, and the hard work has truly paid off. He deserves a big race.

Not every week feels good, and this one tested me. But belief comes from showing up anyway — every day, getting the work done. That’s where progress is made.

Someone asked me if I had cracked the secret to enjoying and repeating success. “Heck no” was my response because success isn’t about staying positive all the time. It’s about emotional intelligence, being self-aware enough to regulate your state when the plan gets tested. It’s understanding that sometimes it gets hard and messy, we call it the grunt work, but we have the mental and emotional resilience, awareness and know how to just keep going.

When you make space for your emotions, your brain, body, and behaviour finally get on the same page.
That’s when consistency stops being a struggle and starts becoming your natural state.

That’s when ‘FLOW’ happens.

✨ Goodbye 2025. Welcome 2026. ✨

This year wasn’t just about reps, times, or numbers on a board.
It was early mornings, tired legs, high-fives, laughter between sets, and showing up for each other when quitting would’ve been easier.

Group training means no one does it alone.
We chased goals together.
We prepared for competitions together.
We celebrated wins and learned from the tough days — together.

As we step into 2026, take a moment and ask yourself:

As this year draws to a close, my heart is honestly so full ❤️
I want to say the biggest thank you to every single one of you for supporting FEN Fitness and for showing up — not just to train, but for each other.

This year has had everything… new friendships, uncontrollable laughter, tears, big emotions, setbacks, injuries, breakthroughs and so many unforgettable moments. But one of the things I’m most proud of is seeing so many of you step onto competition floors — people who, just a year or two ago, never believed that was something you could do. Watching that confidence grow in every client, whether it’s group training or Hyrox session has been incredibly emotional and inspiring.

What we’ve built together is so much more than fitness. It’s a community, a safe space, a family — full of support, encouragement and belief, even on the tough days.

Thank you for trusting me, for your hard work, for your honesty, and for bringing the energy that makes FEN Fitness what it is. I couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of you.
