Happy International Nurses Day 💙

Today celebrates nurses everywhere — the NHS staff, community nurses, practice nurses, district nurses, care home nurses, private nurses, student nurses, and all those quietly holding everything together behind the scenes.

Nursing is never just “a job.”
It’s clinical skill, emotional resilience, problem solving, communication, safeguarding, reassurance, and often being the calm person in the room when somebody else feels vulnerable.

As a Registered Nurse, I’m incredibly proud that Elite Health Hub is built around genuine, compassionate, nurse-led care — whether that’s helping somebody hear properly again through ear wax removal, supporting health concerns through blood testing, or simply taking the time to listen properly.

Most people are surprised to hear this… 👂

Cotton buds often don’t remove ear wax — they usually push it further down the ear canal, where it becomes compacted and harder to clear naturally.

Over time this can contribute to:
• Muffled hearing
• Ear pressure/fullness
• Crackling sounds
• Itching
• Ringing in the ears
• Hearing aids whistling or not working properly

Ear wax itself is completely normal and protective — but sometimes it builds up faster than the ear can clear it.
