Horses are amazing teachers and are so naturally teaching us all the time, I had visited a really smart horse recently and this mare had really tried to assist her owner with the choices she was making, and this wise mare knew how it was impacting her owner, yet the owner still continued down this path of what this mare described to me as self destruct.
So the mare planted her feet and would not budge at a competition hence the reach out to me as this was so out of character, the owner had gone down the vet, dentist physio and every other specialist she could think of..
so after exploring the horse said there was nothing wrong with her, it was the only way she could get her owner to do something as eventually she would contact me, ( I had seen this mare some years previously that was specifically for the mare and the relationship which changed so much for them both after the mare had been heard)
So what’s going on I asked,
This wise mare so genuinely told me her concerns about her owner and gave a fabulous lesson in life and choices about self worth and so much more and said she was not willing to negotiate until action has been taken.
It was so beautiful to witness but genius in action..
The mare also said she wasn’t willing to carry the extra weight of worry, self doubt and all the other self loathing traits any longer as she wants better for her owner.. she sees her fully, beyond the limitations. 🐴💥🤯
The owner totally acknowledged this so emotionally and created a plan of action there and then which included much of a better balance .. never underestimate the intelligence of a horse.. 💗🌟🫶🏻

I was asked to visit a new client this week, after speaking with his lovely owner I gently explained to him why I was there, his energy was so prickly, his ears were flat back and his eyes were filled with sorrow and anger. 🥺

I explained to him, his owner loved him very much and had asked me to see if he and I could work together, and if there was anything he wanted or needed to pass on to his owner I would be more than happy to do this, I knew he was listening to me but he chose not to respond , after 45 minutes of gentle work,and avoiding his teeth in my body, I felt this huge emotional block,followed by flash backs of his sad, tortured past from a previous owner!
I told him how sorry I was for the way he had been treated, but trying to bite everyone at every opportunity was Not acceptable, and he could really damage someone, he really listened and started to soften, to the point he had his head gently rested in his owners hands filled with sorry's!

There was a huge block of energy that we worked through to the point I knew he'd be kicking his legs out to release it, THANKFULLY my guides warn me to keep me in safe distance! This brave big gelding allowed us to work through a few layers of held emotional baggage!
I managed to teach his owner to work with him in a few ways which would allow him to release if he chose to, but it must be in his time and not forced. He's such a sweet character under his built up facade. It takes courage to let go.
We must honour and respect this.
