Hello beautiful G&B community 💚💙

A gentle but important reminder about parking. The estate have again raised concerns about cars not being parked in the allocated bays.

We have 5 free bays directly outside the studio for you to use. If these are full, please do not park on the Unicorn Industrial Estate. Instead, please use the car park on Wey Hill or alternative nearby parking.

I really don’t want to interrupt your class to ask you to move your car — and I’m sure you don’t want that either!

Thank you so much for your cooperation and awareness with this. Following this simple guideline helps keep things running smoothly and stress-free for everyone.

Meet our Climbing Coach Poppy Jeavons 🧗

Poppy has worked in climbing since 2019, gaining experience across multiple centres and coaching a wide range of ages and abilities—from absolute beginners to competition climbers.

In 2024, she had the privilege of joining the coaching team for the England Regional Youth Climbing Squad. She currently coaches the competition squad at Oakwood Climbing Centre while also working with climbers of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Poppy’s coaching journey has taken her abroad, including supporting competition climbers alongside the Czech team in Austria. She has taught countless people the fundamentals of climbing and supported them throughout their climbing journeys.

At the heart of it all, She’s a climber first—passionate about the sport and dedicated to sharing that passion with others.
