SPECIAL EVENTS BY ANCIENT SACRED SOUNDS!

I will be running a series of special events this summer, with further ones to be announced very soon!

As per my earlier message on the weekend, my first special event will be on TUESDAY 7th APRIL where I will be playing my first session this year in the magnificent GRIDSHELL buidling at the WEALD AND Weald & Downland Living Museum.

Soundbath at the Weald and Downland Museum next week!

I am delighted to announce that I will be running a series of soundbaths this year in the stunning and beautiful setting of the Weald and Downland Museum in the magnificant Gridshell building.

The first session is coming up very quickly next week on Tuesday 7th April at 4pm.

This first session is likely to be a relatively small group and so this will provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to the therapeutic sounds.

I will be bringing a set up similar in size to the one I use at my regular sessions at Kew Gardens, the broad selection of large gongs, singing bowls and other gentle percussion instruments will create am immersive and complex sonic tapestry for a deep relaxation meditation for your health and wellbeing.

Exciting new venue, starting next week!

I am delighted to announce that I will be running a series of soundbath sessions at the Weald & Downland Living Museum this year in the magnificent setting of the Gridshell building.

This will be an incredible setting for a sound meditation session, combining the therapeutic sounds with the natural and historic environment, to make a truly unique experience.

Sound and Resonance Mini-Retreat, Sunday 7th June 1-5pm, Cowdray Hall, Midhurst.

I will be returning for another mini retreat in june in the beautiful setting of Cowdray Hall. The session provides the opportunity to explore the art of multi-sensory listening to enhance our own listening skills to a deeper level.

The session in June will have an additional section focusing on improving listening skills using small singing cups and bowls. This activity will benefit anyone but will be especially helpful for people with some hearing loss and can offer a possible way to help improve your hearing and perception skills.

Other activities will include a guided listening meditation, various sound meditations, a drum circle, gong circle (playing hand held gongs). One of the sound meditations will feature 3 extra large gongs to help develop the physical feeling of sound beyond just the audible.

No previous expereince needed, just an open minded approach!

Deep Relaxation Soundbath and Drumming Circle Events at Cowdray Hall in April.

I will be returning to Cowdray Hall for my monthly sound meditation session on Friday 24th April at 7pm.

This session will take place in the magnificent main hall and will include a powerful collection of gongs, blending their sounds together to create a deeply relaxing and calming sound meditation.

There will also be a SPECIAL EVENT Drumming Circle with Closing Gongbath on Sunday 19th April at 3pm.

There will be 90 minutes of drumming followed by a 30 minute closing gongbath. The first 2 drumming sessions at Cowdray have been very popular. It is open to anyone who would like to explore the drum for meditation and wellbeing, no previous expereince is needed and drums are provided.

Gongbath Special Event, North Heath Hall in May.

I will be returning to North Heath Hall on Friday 8th May for another gongbath special event. The previous sessions have been very popular and this provides the opportunity to present a much larger range of gongs than usual. The hall has fabulous acoustics which work extremely well with the deep therapeuitc tones of a range of large gongs for a deep and immersive sonic experience for relaxation and wellbeing.

Outdoor Forest Gongbath Events for 2026

Tickets are now available for the very popular Alice Holt Outdoor Forest sessions for this year. There will be 5 events running at 1 a month from May to September.

These sessions offer the most fantastic and direct opportunity to combine the therapeutic sounds with the natural environment. It is a truely multi-sensory experience. The birdsong, light breeze, feeling of the ground below you, and the canopy above all add to increase the sensory capacity as the sounds of the gongs take you on a magnificent journey.

Yoga and Soundbath event yesterday.

It was a great pleasure to return once again to Itchen Abbas Village Hall for a combined Yin Yoga, Cacao and Soundbath session with Susanna from the School of Creative Wellness.

The weather was stunning and it was a beautiful and tranquil afternoon. I brought along a powerful selection of gongs to close the event. I am really looking forward to returning for the summer solstice event!
