What started out as World Bee Day in Arts and Crafts this morning was gradually taken over by a Snake and Mushroom crafted from play dough and the residents seem to enjoy it in Forget me not suite, never a dull moment at Chestnut View care home

A little lunch at our local Hasleway community centre this afternoon, the delicious food and desserts are always enough to keep you going for a week they are so big. Residents enjoyed the treat as always and we love all the Staff that work there.

We celebrated at yesterday with international Nurses Day, "Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives".Our Nurse and Manager Christine joined us for a photoshoot with our other Nurses who come to work every day to dedicate themselves to looking after our residents with great care , compassion and empathy, well done all of you. In the morning in our Art and Craft session residents coloured in Thank you cards along with a Quote that was placed inside and we gave each Nurse a box of Chocolates to take home and enjoy.Portia our lovely Singer came in to entertain us with a great medley of Eras Songs and I had the pleasure to Duet with her. A lovely afternoon was had by all.
