"Over ten years ago, an addictive heroine and opioid epidemic led to overcrowded jails around the USA. The same was true in the state of Virginia. Then a local change came along. County Sheriff Karl Leonard started a program in 2016 to help overwhelmed inmates and staff in the Chesterfield County Jail. EFT Tapping made its way into jail. The HARP program, or Helping Addicts Recover Progressively teaches new skills, saves money, and transforms lives. Tapping Tuesday videos features inmates using tapping for self-care. These TikTok videos have gone viral, with millions of views worldwide. Funds from the videos help pay for inmates’ recovery after release from jail. You can watch one on Facebook here.
