Dear Patients,

We would like to remind all patients about appropriate use of the car park at Ore Clinic.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and parking wardens will be going live shortly. We have recently noticed an increase in inappropriate parking, which causes access and safety issues for patients and staff.

Please be aware that the following are not permitted:

Parking in On-Call Doctor or On-Call Paramedic spaces

Parking in the turning area, which must be kept clear at all times

Blocking other vehicles in

Parking on grass verges or cross-hatched markings

Parking in the car park and not attending the surgery

To help us manage parking correctly, all patients must provide their car registration number to reception staff on arrival.

Failure to follow these rules may result in parking enforcement action once ANPR and wardens are active.

Please note that the last day to order repeat prescriptions before Christmas is close of play on Monday 22nd December.

Requests received after this time may not be processed in time for the Christmas period. If you need repeat prescriptions over the Christmas period, we kindly ask that you submit your repeat prescription requests as early as possible to avoid running out of medication.

Due to unprecedented staff sickness, we are currently experiencing significant staff shortages. To ensure clinical safety, the Harold Road site will be closed temporarily. The dispensary at Harold Road will remain open, but all other staff have been moved to the Ore site so we can continue providing safe and effective care.

We are pleased to announce that The Hill Surgery will be opening a new, modern site on 1st December 2025. This move is an important step in improving the services, facilities, and accessibility we can offer our patients.

As part of this development, the Beaconsfield Road site will permanently close on 1st December 2025.

Our new premises will offer:

More consulting and treatment rooms
Improved accessibility and facilities
Opportunities to expand services
A more comfortable environment for patients and staff

Extended Access

Evening extended access sessions will be offered at our New main site.

Our two other sites will remain open as staffing levels allow, dates and times will be advertised on the website and social media channels.
