My readings are set out to be affirming, confronting, enriching, and above all to encourage movement - ever forward into the face of the known/unknown.

2016 is ten years ago, and all of the reminiscence has plunged pooled me into my past.

The years of lacking care and freedom abound. I look back on these earlier times knowing I will never have freedom like it again, and for that I am glad.

Responsibility can feel too high a mark to meet, it did for me in those hurried years. I did not want responsibility (for my actions, my trajectory, myself) I wanted freedom. I thirsted for freedom from a state of living I could not understand. To me, disembodiment never felt so good.

It took a lot to reel myself back in, to reconnect with those lost parts and fill in the gaps. It’s said it’s never too late to bring yourself back, I also think it is never too early. I got sober at 20 for a year. I got back into (some) old vices at 21. I brought myself back to equilibrium by 22, attempted to repair my relationship with the world as much as I could. Put things to rites for the thousandth time.

Without all of the back and forth, the hardship that teaches so much, the love gained and lost and gained again, none of us would be evolving beyond our hedonistic pasts. I like to look back sometimes, but only to gawp at how different things are now.

Despite the “new year” not yet being in the full scope of newness, a vibration change happens as the clock strikes midnight on December 31st.

It’s hard to ignore the fact that time is rumbling on, as it always does. The shift forces us to see to our innermost workings, reflect and align.

While this “new year” is something I feel should be a low pressure space, shying away from capitalist shoves toward a new you, some exciting things are bubbling over for me and my small practice which I would like to gently introduce to you all over the course of time.

Come the end of January, I will be cultivating a new healing modality to offer you all (more on this once it has all come to land). There will be new ways to visit/work with me, hold in energy/psychic work and move through the vibrations that come our way as we head towards Beltane.

(And yes, this does mean inviting a physical, 1:1 or small group space to open from time to time again!)

A series of large and small components have been and still are moving toward a renewed spirit in my field of work.

After an arduous and sometimes rewarding 2025, there is now a place for me to extend my presence outward once more. I hope to see some of you joining me in all of the newness as and when it comes to fruition throughout this next calendar year.

The mystery and certainty of it all leaves me in a state of sickly-excitement. 💧

Wishing that you all come to loving conclusions in this midwinter winter sphere. Don’t push too hard, don’t relent too much, listen to your body above all things.

Reflecting on a year in water,

The many wells and ways to be held by one.

Changing faces, landscapes, emotions heightened - water was constant, steady, familiar this year.

The one thing I can say I kept consistency with was my relationship to water.

Returning to salty water, my wannabe spa-town home in Hastings. Making pilgrimage to old water, my holy-land-chalk-spring-fed water of Canterbury.

Seeking new water. City waters, woodland waters, cliffside water, utterly hidden water.

It is all around me! And I still have yet more water to uncover before the new year rings in.

A thanks to healing waters that help me do my work, inner and outer, with and without other energies/people/places.

Water truly carries my whole practice, it carries the energy healing we do, the readings I open for you, the blessings I send your way. 💧

Such change has arisen in 2025, the dynamism of these last twelve months have sent me (and my practice) through loops upon loops of unrest, ease, comfort, confusion and joy.

I have had the sweetest hellos and hardest goodbyes moving away from Canterbury to go back home, grieving the old and calling forward the new.

When I left Canterbury, I really had no plan. I was totally surrendered to healing with the sea, watching for the horizon and what fresh air it could bring. Everything since moving has come as such a surprise, but oh so welcomed.

For one, I co-curated an exhibition about my family and our mystic lineage, all off the back of a chance encounter at the Mint House. To learn there was a movement in Sussex that took such keen interest in my work, my ancestry, my whole being… it’s remarkable. This time instilled new confidence in the fact that I *can* adapt my practice to all places, timelines and energetic states, even in Hastings.

2025 gave me much time on my own, the east hill is isolating in a nourishing way. It’s allowed me to find my footing as I connect to the ocean breath once more. Amongst isolation I have encountered some truly special people, without a need for pub socialisation (which feels quite big for me, as I am a sucker for a pub encounter). So a thankful nod goes to those I have connected with, and created bonds with. It is the warmest welcome home.

And a vulnerability is that I moved back in with family throughout this time, something I haven’t done since I left home at 18. But there is a softness in living in my mum’s childhood bedroom, a comfort that only the familiarity of grandparents can bring. I cherish the evenings watching the chase, having been deep in psychic space with clients only an hour ago. The conjunction of exploring my ancestral line with those ancestral faces sleeping in the adjoining room, it’s tenderness and magic all wrapped into one.

There is a litany of things I could say to sum up this year. It has been one of the most challenging for me in a long time, and I know many people will resonate with that. The sweetest gift we can give is our attentive presence and witnessing.

I cartomance as a divine forecaster and not a teller of divine absolutes,

“Divine truths” are a loaded gun, making readings into absolutes will only ever leave us in agony of what is to come, or what has not yet landed. Hanging on the word of someone else will not get us very far toward the message that is “truly” intended.

For a reader cannot know nor work in absolutes of what is passed to them, nor can they deliver it with the crispness of how it was handed to them.

I am a reader as I am an advice giver, a teller of message that remains enwrapped in enigma just as much to me as it may to you.

We are all on a level playing field in the reading/healing/psychic space. No reader/healer/psychic is above or beyond you, ever.

A reader is a channel, a person, a device of symbolism passed on.

When you visit me for a reading, there is nothing said in concrete, for all is in a constant state of flux from moment to moment. We do not enter and exit the reading space in the same finite chamber, we have already adapted past the moment of message (whether we recognise this or not).

A reading is said in flux and is to stay in flux, washing and moving with you as you take in each fresh breath.

As the year comes to a close and people wish to know their next steps, keep all of the above in mind. We are constantly breaking through, starting new cycles at different moments to each other, we are constantly in a transitional state.

Whoever you seek the divine with, remember your place in the space is just as integral as theirs, as is your voice, thoughts and response to any offering.

The Witches’ Well - West Firle

This sweet little well spring is tucked away in the tiny village of West Firle, a place fertile with enigma, tightly wound in woodland and wind.

I could feel in my body that it was ripe to be happened upon, I wandered pendulum in hand and floated where it pulled, over and over, ever closer, until there she was.

I spent a quiet moment kneeling at her chamber, before the owner of the property from which it rises pulled up next to me and imparted his knowledge on this sacred spot.

“It was said that witches were hung upside down in the well head to be drowned, but I like to think that is not true.”

We discussed how folklore is unreliable by nature, and conjured our own story off the back of the vibration the waters gave - that this was a space where a good witch, or several, ruminate and work the energy even still. Healing historically being delivered through the watery ways, space being opened here for a path forward, a well of blessings and tenderness - not persecution and fear.

The grate never used to be there he told me, dogs would frolic in the chamber and take laps of water. His dog stood at my feet, a sweet addition to the photos he took of me standing at his well. We both beamed at the marvel of it, he told me how the stream opens into a lake beyond the fields.

Such a wonderful find, and I’m so pleased the well and its owner happened upon my day.

A thread of inspiration is woven from the west.

A land where the ley-lines vibrate at full intensity, where the connections are keen and undeniable. The west is somewhere that I find connection unbridled, the wind here evokes change.

The west will always leave me wanting, wishing, and believing in something more.

A short stay away has been so sweet, we will meet again, Stanton Drew.

Here I am drinking up the cold air and damp stone, feeling sleepy and grateful. Books are back open for readings, auras, healing, general mysticism and witchery. Dm to catch your slot.

We are all our ancestors,

Carrying a torch, ever moving forwards with their legacies, traditions and pains stitched into the fabric of our being.

All Souls approaches steadily, a time to honour those who have transcended the spirit barrier. Some feel the energy is closer, more fervent. For me, the ancestral line is always near, tugging at my sleeve, asking to be unwound.

And so with time, delicate touch and an understanding hand, I unpick:

200 years of Hastings fishing-fleet family,

A garbled Romani ethnicity landed with me unexpectedly,

Pain of a matriarch suppressed, and a magic passed on,

Still with so much more to be sought out, dislodged, polished, tended, held.

I had the joy of being approached to share my Romani family story recently by the , leading to a lot of time spent writing, talking and tracing my Romani ancestors (known and unknown) with people who made sharing feel safe, steady and authentic. It wasn’t a quick and simple decision to take this on, there is still such tender touch to the subject of my Great Nanny, Gwen and her dissolution of our ethnicity. Gwen was bathed in complexity, the root of missing history, someone pushed to the bottom of her identity. The reverberation of hiding your true self, cultural customs, lineage and family members would have no doubt weighed heavy. I know discovering a hidden truth so large has thrown its own challenges to me, in a muted and internal way.

But brushing the cloak and dagger aside, Gwen saw in me something she felt compelled to pay forward. A line of mystic women, divination practitioners held strong throughout time.

Safety is in the surrounding,

Where do you shroud yourself, and within what?

Seeking safety is the continual act of showing up for your needs. Leading your energy where the nervous system can relinquish tension, ironing out the wrinkles of confinement.

I show up for myself each day now, I am led by my body and not by my whims.

Whims take us where there is a quick snap of gratification, but body led movement takes our nervous tendencies to the realm of safety.

It’s an every day assessment, continual checking in with the self, shaking hands with comfort and moulding your sweet spot.

We can achieve so much from a safe and comfortable distance, I won’t let it be said that discomfort has to constantly accompany growth.

Healing can lull into softness, softness is not a sign of weakness.

I won’t let softness be mistaken for weakness, not in you and not in me.

Soft healing is celebrated here.

I have a lack of words this year, it’s been taxing to put thought to narrative.

Words for me have been halted by experience, intangible outings and connection unbridled. Writing holds power but it doesn’t always suffice, something will inevitably be lost in the translation.

When salving a nervous system that is finding its anchor, words lie still, internal, unspoken. I am clearing a hollow, stick in hand, pushing apart what has grown tangled. In this space, words aren’t needed.

A healing hollow does not need its creation witnessed by others to be true.

When the well of words is shallow, save the precious resource for what counts.

The dwindling light is here to bring stillness, retreat, reflection.

I’ll give you a sample of my stillness, without much context - context isn’t needed where I am going.

Home is for the small treasures and tracing,

I listen for the deep hum at the core of the cliffs, the sea dragging and whistling, the scarcity of the sacred that is knotted amongst my sea-side home - bathed in complexity and memory.

Visions of the past have a habit of traipsing behind me here, it’s a silent confrontation. I’ve made many assessments and re-assessments the last two months. I flit between missing the old and relishing the new.

Letting go of the familiar will never be straight-forward, but I never believed in being put here to remain familiar.

When the day closes, when the barn owls flee their Fairlight roost, I know that throwing caution to the sea was the best move.

I want to reiterate my appreciation for all of you who have stood by and watched, kept in touch, checked in, chased me for my offerings and held me in the utmost confidence. Truly, thank you.
