With three full weeks left of training, I wanted to put some helpful tips out there to guide people in their preparation.
1. Quality, appropriate trainers, that are up to the task of training AND the event.
2. Regular stretching sessions.
3. Leg and core strengthening sessions, in or out of the gym.
4. Hydration, yes, even in the cold weather. Drink 2 to 3 litres of water a day.
5. DO NOT IGNORE MINOR MUSCLE NIGGLES, CONCERNS, OR ISSUES!
6. Ice and elevate legs on a regular basis to ease tensions on ankles.
7. Consider wearing compressions socks.
8. Consider using a wobbly board for strengthening sessions.
9. Be aware of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness), usually 24 to 48 hours after strenuous exercise.

Thank you to Jack at Falaise Fitness Centre and Bexhill United FC for the review.
Thank you strapping my knee yesterday.
After a hyperextended my knee a month back my PCL has been weaker than normal and playing football has been painful. After having a strapping session before football I felt more confident in the knee I was able to extend the knee with better range, sprint jump and land with no issues it’s the first time I have been able to play football without painkillers thank you
