We’re sorry if the cloud we’ve been living in this weekend stole your sea view! 🌦️

Just a little reminder we’re open every day except Tuesday…Wed: 2.45pm – 7.30pm,
Thurs: 2.45pm-7.30pm,
Fri: 8am – 7.30pm,
Sat: 9am – 6.45pm,
Sun: 9am – 6.45pm,
Mon: 8am – 12pm.

You can book 30 mins, 60 mins or 90mins private sessions (for up to 4 guests) or 60 minutes and 90 mins for communal sessions individually.

Or if you’re looking for something a bit more bespoke, get in touch! We’re available for private hire, events, group bookings, hen parties, birthdays, work dos and more.

We can’t wait to see you… and hopefully you’ll get to see the sea!

🔥 Built by women, for everyone.

Today, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day and reflecting on the journey that brought Samphire Sauna to life.

What started as an idea between two women who loved sauna, the sea, and community has grown into something far bigger than we imagined, a place where people come to rest, connect, and feel better.

Running a small business isn’t always easy, but being part of this community and working with our incredible team makes every early morning, windy day, and late-night log stack worth it.

To all the women building things, holding things together, creating spaces, supporting others, and showing up every day, we see you. 💛

And to our incredible team and community (many of whom are women supporting women), thank you for being part of the Samphire story.

🔥 We were recently featured (in the background!) of a new documentary featuring

The programme, Lost Boys, Deadly Men explores the impact of negative online male influencers, which is a tough topic… but what we were really pleased to see our lovely regular and men’s mental health activist discussing positive male connection as an antidote.

Speaking about the men’s group he’s part of and how spaces like the sauna have supported open conversation, accountability and mental wellbeing.

And that’s something we care deeply about.

Sauna has always been more than heat and sea.
It’s conversation.
It’s community.
It’s somewhere to take the armour off.

We’re proud to be a space where people, including men, can show up honestly, connect meaningfully, and support one another.

A little housekeeping update from us 💛

We get a surprising amount of lost property each week (towels, swimwear, flip flops, you name it!).

But because our office is so small, and without much storage, we unfortunately don’t have room to store items indefinitely. So we’re introducing a simple new system:

📸 Every Monday we’ll photograph and share any lost property from the previous week
🗓 Items will be kept for 2 weeks
♻️ After that, they’ll be donated to charity, where possible (or responsibly disposed of).

If you think you’ve left something behind, keep an eye on our stories and get in touch as soon as you spot it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I visited this sauna for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. The changing rooms are surprisingly nice, they have large boxes to put your things in and the saunas were lovely and warm!

One sauna was about 85 degrees, the other about 100 degrees. Both were really good to spend time in. The location is fantastic and the sound of the ocean partnered with the wood fire spitting is such a relaxing sensory experience.

Plus, they have some pleasant outdoor facilities including an icy plunge pool, deck chairs to laze on and cold water showers.
