The most common issue people see me for is tight neck and shoulders. This can lead into tension headaches, migraines and pain to the surrounding areas. It is very common in people who work office jobs that require sitting at a computer for long periods of time, the constant seated position with the neck fixed looking at a computer screen will cause this so it’s important to stretch out whenever you can. Stretches like moving your ear to shoulder both ways, moving head to look left, right, up and down are simple ways of preventing build up of tightness in the neck and shoulders if done properly and regularly. Doing this before sleep and as you wake up are prime times as quite often stiffness can come from sleeping positions also.
