John had a wonderful birthday outing today on the Kent & East Sussex Railway 🚂 He boarded a steam train at Bodiam and enjoyed the scenic ride to Tenterden, where he stopped for a lovely lunch before the return journey home.

Happy Birthday to our gentlemen John 🎉

Today John had a wonderful time celebrating his birthday with friends at his much loved day centre, then at home surrounded by plenty of cake, presents, and birthday cheer 🎂🎁

And the celebrations don’t stop there ~ as tomorrow John sets off on an exciting ride aboard the Kent & East Sussex steam train! 🚂

Snippets from our most recent ‘Create Your Own Supper’ session and it was was a spud-tacular success! 🥔

We tried something new ~ loaded potato skins, packed full of cheesy goodness, spring onions, chives, crispy bacon, and a dollop of sour cream.
They were fun to make, and an absolute hit with everyone.

Today we have had a masterclass in jam. Huge thanks to Jo for kindly picking and donating beautiful damsons and helping us create 14 jars of delicious Blackberry & Damson jam.
It was a true team effort ~ with plenty of berry sampling along the way! These tasty jars of jam will be on sale at our Summer Fair… and trust us, they’re berry hard to resist! 🫐💜
