We’re happy to announce the launch of a brand new ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) clinic at LycaHealth in Orpington. Clinics are held on a Friday morning and we’re taking bookings now.
LycaHealth has a purpose built clinic in Orpington offering modern facilities with plenty of accessible parking for patients. There is a dedicated diagnostics centre on-site so if you need further investigation with a scan, this can be undertaken at the clinic, sometimes on the same day.

We are delighted to announce that Paul Kirkland has a new private clinic at Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital. With over 20 years of experience as an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Consultant, Paul offers expert personalised care for all ENT related problems.
Unlike many consultants, Paul does not charge a consultant fee for self-funding patients who require a procedure during their consultation. This includes nasal cautery, ear microsuction and fibreoptic endoscopy of the nose and throat. (Please note the hospital fee for procedures will still apply).
He performs one-stop hearing tests during appointments for patients who report hearing loss so they don’t need to be referred elsewhere for a hearing assessment.
Based in Fordcombe, just outside Tunbridge Wells, Spire Tunbridge Wells has plenty of private parking and easy accessibility, with everything on one level. Patients also have access to advanced diagnostics and treatment options all within the same hospital site.

From April 2022, the Spire Sussex Hospital in Hastings was taken over by East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and has been re-named Sussex Premier Health. The new hospital will offer private healthcare to patients in Sussex and Kent.
I am delighted to let you know that you can now book an appointment to see me there to discuss your ear, nose and throat symptoms or conditions. I would like to reassure you that the change in hospital name and management will not affect the service I provide; and you will continue to receive the same high-quality treatment and care as before.
I have an outpatient clinic at Sussex Premier Health on Wednesday afternoons and operate there on Wednesday mornings. I also have a ‘one-stop’ Mole and Skin Lesions clinic at the hospital once a month on a Friday.

We are committed to providing a first-class service to our patients and it’s our job to reassure patients that it is safe to be seen by Mr Kirkland. We understand that patients will have questions and concerns regarding their visit – we want you to know that we have a robust set of precautions and safety measures in place to offer our patients total peace of mind.
We now send out a registration questionnaire to our patients to ensure they are seen via the most appropriate pathway. For example, if a patient is elderly or vulnerable, a video consultation may be a more appropriate and effective way to be seen.

As many of the local GP surgeries have recently stopped offering this service, you will now be able to have ear microsuction in the safe, clean and COVID-secure environment of the Spire Sussex Hospital. Ear wax removal by microsuction is a safe, quick and comfortable way to remove wax from ears.

You will be required to complete an on-line registration form so we ensure you are coming to the right clinic. There is no need for a referral and we accept self-funding patients. The set fee of £80 will be collected by the hospital before your appointment.

The procedure will be performed by Consultant ENT Surgeon Mr Paul Kirkland and usually takes a few minutes for each ear.
