We have had a truly wonderful time celebrating Easter here at The Laurels, filled with creativity, laughter, and togetherness.
In the lead-up to our celebration, our residents enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts activities. From decorating wooden and real eggs, to creating colourful paper flowers and cheerful bumblebees, there was no shortage of imagination. We even grew seeds in eggshells and turned them into fun “eggshell characters” with googly eyes, bringing lots of smiles along the way.
Our baking sessions were just as joyful, with residents decorating cakes and cupcakes, as well as creating beautiful sugar spring flowers and charming rabbit gift boxes.
The celebration itself was a truly special day, shared with family members and loved ones. We were delighted to be entertained by a talented performer who sang beautifully and played the saxophone, creating a lovely atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
A very special highlight was a visit from the Easter Bunny, who was warmly welcomed (and thoroughly spoiled!) by everyone here at The Laurels.
Of course, no Easter would be complete without plenty of chocolate eggs, shared alongside lots of love, laughter, and happiness.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so memorable.
