๐ญ Sian's Tuesday Thought of the Day ๐ฆ
Here we are again, reaching the middle of the month at breakneck speed. I find myself banging on about the time flying by constantly, much to the frustration of those around me! Recent family celebrations and all the other birthdays and anniversary's we have this month, have made me even more nostalgic and wondering where the years have gone. With the world we are living in now, is it any wonder that the time passes by so quickly though? There is always something for us to be doing, always somewhere we need to be and always the need to be planning ahead to make sure we are able to fit everything in that we have set for ourselves to do.
Of course, this isn't really anything new, I mean the saying "time flies when you're having fun" first recorded around the 1800's, has been linked to the Latin phrase Tempus fugit (time flees) which appeared around 29 BC, in Virgil's, Georgics poem. People throughout the centuries have been saying how quickly time passes ๐.
So my thought for today, is based on a quote from the late, great Muhammad Ali "Don't count the days: make the days count." Let's make sure we stop focusing on the days gone by and time rushing past us and start to concentrate on enjoying every day as it comes and appreciating the fact that we are still here to make the most of them all. Always remember to take the time to immerse yourselves in the beauty surrounding you every day.
