I am always banging on about serotonin and the importance it has on our health - mental and physical.
โ€จAnd one of the SMALLEST things that gives me the BIGGEST serotonin boost is drinking tea โ˜•๏ธ

โค๏ธ I love a herbal teaโ€ฆ mint, chamomile, passionflower, lemon balm (the list goes on) but you also canโ€™t beat a good olโ€™ cuppa English Breakfast tea.

๐Ÿซ– Today is International Tea Day and honestlyโ€ฆ what better way to celebrate the end of a busy day by sitting in the garden with a cuppa, a bit of sunshine and just pressing pause on life for just a moment.

And scientifically speaking, tea really ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด have some lovely benefits:

And whilst thereโ€™s truth in that, thereโ€™s also a point where chronic stress stops being passion and starts becoming survival mode.

๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ That was me in teaching.

I was constantly overwhelmed, emotionally drained and so used to being โ€˜onโ€™ that slowing down felt uncomfortable - even guilty.

The thing is, I didnโ€™t leave teaching because I hated it. I actually loved being in the classroom and working with my team of teachers and TAs.
โ€จI left because I couldnโ€™t ignore what it was doing to my mind and body anymore.

And honestly, I donโ€™t think I wouldโ€™ve had the courage to make that decision without Hypnotherapy.

Not because it magically fixed everything.
But because it helped me quieten the mental noise, stop catastrophising, regulate my nervous system and trust myself again.

๐Ÿ’ก It helped me realise that my worth wasnโ€™t tied to how much I could push through.

Now, I work with teachers, professionals, parents and overwhelmed teenagers who feel exactly how I did:

Loved presenting at todayโ€™s networking event and connecting with such amazing ladies - each bringing their own passion, energy and ambition.

It definitely took me back to my teaching days being back at the front of a room presenting againโ€ฆ just without the micro-managing and tricky parents ๐Ÿ˜‚
