❤️MEET SLIMMING WORLDS NEWLY CROWN NATIONAL WOMAN OF THE YEAR ❤️

“If only I had known the life waiting for me... the life that Slimming World has given me!” We’re so proud to introduce our Woman of the Year 2023, Kelly Barker, who has lost an amazing 18st 👑❤.

After lifelong struggles with her weight – which saw her enduring miserable meal plans at school and a vicious cycle of binge eating as an adult – Kelly was recommended weight loss surgery by her GP. Knowing that the procedure carried extra risks due to her weight, she instead joined her local Slimming World group – and never looked back 🤗.

⭐Congratulations Margaret Whittaker, who set up Slimming World from her kitchen table 54 years ago! – Business Woman of the Year!⭐

Margaret was named overall Business Woman of the Year at the National Business Women’s 2023 awards, as well as winning the large business category.🎉🎉

It’s an incredible accolade and hugely deserved.

The awards were created to recognise women who’ve achieved significant accomplishments in their career, honouring inspiring innovators and visionaries – it’s almost as if they were made for Margaret herself!

On accepting the award, Margaret said: “I’m immensely proud to have been recognised with this award. I’m accepting it not just for myself though, but for the big-hearted Consultants who run our groups all over the UK and Ireland, and our wonderful members who transform their lives with our support, too.”

Let’s raise a cheer for our Man of the Year 2023, Aaron Walker 🥳.
Two years ago, Aaron headed to Leeds Festival looking forward to a day out with friends, listening to good music and making memories. Once he arrived though, he found his size held him back – he felt self-conscious and even missed Two Door Cinema Club, one of his favourite bands, because he was too tired to walk across the field to the stage they were playing on. It was at this point he decided to make a change and join his local Slimming World group. Now 14st lighter, he’s having the time of his life and enjoying Leeds Festival to the fullest this time 🎵!
