Thought this was worth sharing as I still see a lot of people asking for it and offering it.
One main reason the hayfever jab is no longer available❌
This is a real photo. Taken 12 months after Kenalog was administered by a prescriber. That indentation is not temporary. That is what tissue atrophy at the injection site can look like long term.
Kenalog is a corticosteroid. Prescription only. No longer manufactured for this purpose. Not available on the NHS.
And yet it was being given widely, in some cases by people who did not fully understand what they were injecting or what it was capable of doing. ✨
The risks are real. Skin atrophy. Adrenal suppression. Elevated blood sugar. Weakened immune response. Not minor side effects. Serious clinical consequences.
The photo says the rest. 💉
Prescription medications are not shortcuts. They carry real responsibility. And when that responsibility is ignored, real people are left with real damage.
If you were ever offered this injection and have concerns, please speak to your GP. If you are STILL being offered this treatment, report! It’s the only way to keep the public safe 👏🏼
