🐾 Griffin’s Incredible Recovery 🐾
When Griffin first came to us, he was suffering from a severe, infected corneal ulcer that had already perforated. This type of issue is extremely painful and can be devastating to a pet’s vision if not treated quickly.
In Griffin’s case, the damage was so extensive that conventional surgical repair would likely have resulted in dense scarring. But thanks to advances in veterinary ophthalmology, we were able to offer something different — a corneal transplant.
This specialised procedure involves replacing the damaged corneal tissue with healthy donor tissue, helping to restore both comfort and vision. It’s not an option needed for every ulcer, but in cases as severe as Griffin’s, it can make all the difference.
We’re delighted to share that Griffin’s surgery was a success. He has not only kept his eye but is also visual and enjoying a normal, happy life again. 💙
Stories like Griffin’s remind us why we do what we do — combining skill, technology, and compassion to give pets the best possible chance at a bright future. ✨
