The last few days have been heavy. Life has a way of piling things on all at once, and if I’m honest, it’s taken its toll a bit.

But today, in the middle of a session, something shifted.

One of the things I love about this work is that it’s never just one-way. Yes, I’m there to support, guide, and challenge my clients, but sometimes the words I’m saying land with me just as much as they land with them.

Today was one of those moments.

After each session, I spend a little time reflecting on the session & journalling.. And today, as I was reflecting, I caught myself thinking *I needed to hear that too.*

It was a quiet reminder that this work is valuable, not just for the people I work with, but for me as well. Coaching and psychology have this way of reflecting things back at us, of reminding us of the things we already know but sometimes forget when life gets loud.

Even on the hard days, this work matters. And I’m grateful for it. 🙏

A gentle heads-up 💬

If you’ve been thinking about starting coaching with me, this is a small reminder that my prices will be increasing on April 1st.

This change helps me keep my practice sustainable while continuing to offer thoughtful, values-aligned work to the people I support. It allows me to maintain the time, care, and depth that meaningful psychological coaching requires.

If you’d like to begin working together at the current rate, you’re welcome to book your first session before April 1st. Once you’re in, your rate will remain the same.

No pressure, just transparency.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge to invest in yourself, this could be the moment to listen to it. 🌱

📩 Feel free to reach out with questions or to enquire about working together.

March is Endometriosis Awareness month, and I have been busy behind the scenes, so I've been pretty quiet on the socials, but I wanted to take the opportunity today to shout about the work I do for Endometriosis South Coast

Days like today make me incredibly proud of what we achieve together at Endometriosis South Coast 💛

As ESC's Community Participation Trustee and Support Group Leader, it’s moments like this that remind me why our work matters so much. Seeing such a strong turnout at today’s support group, and the connection, understanding, and encouragement shared in the room, is exactly what our charity is here for. It was also so amazing to see partners, friends & family supporting their loved ones, ready & willing to learn and participate in difficult conversations.

A huge thank you to our wonderful guest speakers, for sharing their expertise and empowering insights with the group. Your contributions made the session truly special.

Endometriosis can often feel isolating, but spaces like this remind people that they are not alone. Together we provide support, raise awareness, and help people feel heard and understood.

I’m proud to play a part in a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of the people we serve. 💛

I graduated today. 🎓

I feel incredibly proud, of myself and of the amazing peers and friends I’ve walked this journey with. A year of learning, growth, challenge and perseverance led to this moment, and I genuinely feel fulfilled, accomplished, and happy.

But I also want to be honest about another side of today.

As a wellbeing coaching psychologist with late-diagnosed autism, ADHD, and RSD, I am learning what it really means to unmask and live more authentically, because I practice what I preach.. And authenticity often means holding multiple truths at the same time.

Today was joyful... and also overwhelming.

Big events, crowds, social expectations and constant interaction can be a lot for my nervous system. As the day went on, I noticed the familiar feelings creeping in: sensory overwhelm, feeling out of place, being uncomfortable in my own skin, and the deep social exhaustion that can come from masking for long periods of time.

So I left earlier than I had planned.

Not because I wasn’t grateful, not because I didn’t care, and not because the day didn’t mean everything to me.
But because part of unmasking is learning to listen to my needs and honour them.

And even then, RSD still whispers:
"Did I leave too soon?"
"Did people think I didn’t want to be there?"
"Did I do something wrong?"

The reality of neurodivergent experiences is that pride and discomfort, joy and overwhelm, belonging and feeling out of place can all exist at once.

Today I’m choosing to celebrate the achievement, honour my capacity, and be compassionate with the parts of me that found the day hard.

Growth isn’t just about the degree, it’s also about learning how to show up as your authentic self, even when that means doing things differently.

To anyone else navigating big milestones while managing a neurodivergent brain: you’re not alone, and your way of showing up is valid. 💛

Today, I graduated 🎓 and I honoured my needs.
Both things can be true. ✨

Dream like the kid you once were.. before self-doubt learned your name. 🌱

There was a time when your imagination ran faster than your fears.
You believed you could be anything, go anywhere, create something extraordinary… simply because it felt possible.

Somewhere along the way, doubt grew louder than curiosity.

But here’s the truth:
That fearless dreamer didn’t disappear. They just got quieter.

Coaching is about reconnecting with that part of you, the one that dares to imagine, explore, and try again.
Today, give yourself permission to dream like a kid who hasn’t discovered self-doubt yet. ✨
Your potential has been there all along.

📚✨ Happy World Book Day!

Let’s play a quick game…

If your life right now was a book title, what would it be? 👀

Mine might be:
*“You Are Strong as Hell” by Maria Medeiros*

As a Coaching Psychologist, I love how books help us explore new perspectives, challenge our thinking, and sometimes even rewrite the stories we tell ourselves.

Your turn 👇
Drop your current life “book title” in the comments.

✨️📚March is Reading Month 📚✨

As a coaching psychologist, I truly believe that the right book at the right time can help shift your mindset, expand your awareness, and spark meaningful change.

After I was diagnosed with AuDHD, one book I found beyond helpful to helping me understand my mind & body, physically, chemically and psychologically was "Scattered Minds" by Gabor Maté.

This book helped me reframe ADHD not as a deficit, but as a response, a complex interaction between brain chemistry, environment, stress, and sensitivity. It gave language to experiences I’d struggled to articulate and compassion to parts of myself I’d misunderstood for years.

👇 I’d love to hear:
• What are you reading this month?
• Which book has had the biggest impact on your personal or professional growth?

Let’s build a March reading list together. 📖💭
