Dolphin Homes

Dolphin Homes Delivering first class quality care and support are at the foundation of everything we offer.

We were founded in 1988 with the aim of providing high quality accommodation, care, assistance and support for people within the South East of England and started out with a residential care home for the elderly. In 2004 Dolphin Homes extended its range of services when it opened Myrtle Cottage, in Emsworth, its first home for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. OUR MISSION

We shall continue to develop our expertise in providing both general and specialist services to meet continuing care demands whilst demonstrating a level of flexibility to meet changing market needs. Our professional team of staff will continue to focus on developing standards of excellence in all of our homes, whilst our company will remain committed to our personnel, supporting their professional development through training and career progression. As a result of achieving our service person centred objectives, Dolphin Homes will be recognised as the leading provider of learning disability care services in the South of England.

Stress Awareness Month

This month, we’re taking a moment to recognise something that affects us all - stress.

Working in health and social care is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be demanding. That’s why it’s so important to create a culture where our teams feel supported, listened to, and valued every day.

At Dolphin Homes, we’re committed to promoting wellbeing across all of our services. Encouraging open conversations, supporting one another, and recognising when it’s time to pause and take care of ourselves.

We have our Bupa employee assistance programmes, staff forums where problems can be discussed and managed, staff surveys and Mental Health First Aiders.

Because when our teams feel supported, the people we care for receive the very best support too!

Let’s continue to look out for one another 💛

Wishing a Happy Easter to those celebrating, and a wonderful long weekend to everyone 🌼

World Autism Awareness Day 2026!

Today, we’re proud to stand behind a message that sits at the heart of everything we do - every individual matters.

At Dolphin Homes, we support adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible, make informed choices about their own lives, and grow at a pace that feels right for them. We believe that everyone has the fundamental right to be treated equally, with dignity, respect, and understanding.

Our teams work closely with the people we support to encourage meaningful engagement within their local communities; building confidence, promoting independence, and creating opportunities for personal growth.

Collaboration is at the core of our approach. From shaping care plans to everyday decisions, we work with people, not for them. We’re also proud to have supported individuals involved in training our teams, and we’re currently working together to develop a course centred around lived experience to ensure real voices are heard and valued.

Because for Dolphin Homes, it’s simple: every human has value, and every voice deserves to be heard.

This month is all about celebrating social care 🥳

As we step into a new month, we’re proud to join Skills for Care campaign a time dedicated to recognising the incredible compassion, dedication, and hard work of those who make a difference in people’s lives every single day.

At Dolphin Homes, we see firsthand the kindness and commitment our teams bring to the people we support, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Throughout April, we’ll be shining a light on the amazing individuals behind social care and the impact they have across our services!

Join us in celebrating and saying thank you to everyone working in social care your work truly matters.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Park View has received an overall CQC result of GOOD, with OUTSTANDING for the Caring category! 🌟

This recognition reflects the compassion, dedication and hard work of our amazing team who go above and beyond every day to support the people who live with us. The inspection highlighted the strong, person-led culture at Park View, where individuals are supported to live fulfilling lives, maintain independence and feel truly valued.

Thank you to our staff, the people we support and their families for being such an important part of Park View and Dolphin Homes!

This week we are celebrating Neurodiversity Week!

At Dolphin Homes, we celebrate neurodiversity in all the practical ways we support people. We co-produce support plans and adapt individuals surroundings to best support their needs and wants.

We provide in-depth training to all staff whilst also catering towards learning needs with fidget toys, dyslexia colour overlays and different learning styles. We are also co-producing courses that will help bring awareness to lived experience.

This is a really important week to recognise, celebrate, and continue learning!
