We were founded in 1988 with the aim of providing high quality accommodation, care, assistance and support for people within the South East of England and started out with a residential care home for the elderly. In 2004 Dolphin Homes extended its range of services when it opened Myrtle Cottage, in Emsworth, its first home for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. OUR MISSION

We shall continue to develop our expertise in providing both general and specialist services to meet continuing care demands whilst demonstrating a level of flexibility to meet changing market needs. Our professional team of staff will continue to focus on developing standards of excellence in all of our homes, whilst our company will remain committed to our personnel, supporting their professional development through training and career progression. As a result of achieving our service person centred objectives, Dolphin Homes will be recognised as the leading provider of learning disability care services in the South of England.

As 2025 comes to an end, we’re incredibly proud to reflect on a year of growth, resilience, and achievement. We’ve grown by 6 services, celebrated 15+ finalists and multiple award wins, and most importantly, seen our amazing teams support one another through the ups and downs of the year.

As we say goodbye to How Would You Feel, we’re opening a new chapter: Moments That Matter.

Life is shaped by small, meaningful interactions; moments that show care, dignity, and respect. One recent moment reminded us of this:

During a visit, a supported person proudly showed their newly decorated bedroom. A few delivery boxes had been placed in front of treasured photos, unnoticed. The manager gently asked if they’d like the items moved, and together they cleared the space so those memories could shine again.

Such a simple act, but it made a big difference , sparking conversation, connection, and a reminder that noticing the little things truly matters.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be sharing real moments just like this.
We’d love to hear yours.
