Did you know there are two main systems that we use to place filler?

The first you see here is a cannula, different than the ones used in hospital and is often referred to as a “blunt needle”. This can help reduce the risk of vascular occlusion in higher risk areas of the face.

The second you see is a needle - this can allow for more precise placement of the filler to create a particular look or target a specific area.

Knowing the anatomy of the face in detail allows for the risks to be assessed and I will choose the right treatment modality for your specific case.

Speaking to a lot of clients today about the “why” around aesthetic treatments.

The main reason you may come to see me is often a deeply personal hope/imperfection that only you perceive - finding your eye is drawn to it in the mirror for example - but is something that people observing you in your life wouldn’t even consider an issue!

Societal pressure and beauty standards (often from internalised misogyny and patriarchy) are a huge reason why all of us can have negative feelings about our appearance/bodies.

While this may be a problematic origin for the feelings we have it does not negate the fact you may not always feel comfortable in your skin.

I am a strong advocate of only enhancing your natural features and will always advise against treatments that I don’t think are right or necessary for you. I want you to get comfortable and have confidence and feel like the best version of yourself ✨🤍
