Here’s our lovely Lucy demonstrating a very small number of the most common menopause symptoms. If anyone has any others they don’t mind sharing please feel free to pop them in the comments.

Today was our first staff menopause cafe. We provided a safe, reassuring space for our staff members to come together, break down the stigma, and share their own experiences around menopause.

We didn’t have a specific agenda (except to eat Dr Bakers lovely cake), but we did end up discussing different types of medications, as well as alternative treatments, symptoms, and how we manage these in the workplace. Between us we’ve appointed a ‘menopause champion’, who will act as a point of contact for staff members, providing support and guidance, and a little shopping list of things to make life more comfortable whilst in work.
